Interstate technical committee

MTC 534 “Ensuring the safety of agricultural products and food raw materials on the basis of the principles of HACCP”

 

ITC “SAPFS” was created by order of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (further – IC).

 

ITC “SAPFS” is based on the Technical Committee for Standardization TC 44 “Technologist” (further – the TC 44 “Technologist”).

 

Objects of standardization MTC 534 “ESAPFS” are:

 

¾    ensuring the safety of agricultural products and food staples;

¾    ensuring the safety of livestock products;

¾    ensuring the safety of technology production and processing of agricultural production;

¾    common methods of testing and analysis of foods.

 

Objects of standardization: the codes in accordance with MK (ISO / INFKO ISS) 001:

 

65.020.10 – Organization and management of agricultural production;

65.020.30 – Animal industry and animals breeding;

65.060 – Agricultural machinery, tools and equipment;

65.120 – Animal feed;

67. 040 – Agricultural food products in general;

67.100 – Milk and milk products;

67.100.10 – Milk and milk products;

67.100.20 – Butter. Cheese;

67.120 – Meat, meat products and other animal products;

67.120.10 – Meat and meat products;

67.120.20 – Poultry and eggs.

The activity of ITC 534 ” ESAPFS “ is aimed at:

 

¾    preparation of proposals for the formation of interstate standardization programs on fixed objects of standardization or areas of activity;

¾    preparation of proposals for the development, review, making amendments and cancellation of interstate standards and other interstate documents on standardization  (further – ND) ;

¾    the development , review , approval and preparation for the adoption of the ND projects;

¾    revision of the ND and the preparation of amendments to them;

¾    periodic inspection of ND assigned to MTC 534 ;

¾    promote to the adoption of international ( regional) standards , as well as national standards of other states as interstate ;

¾    cooperation with intergovernmental technical committees in related fields;

¾    cooperation with enterprises (organizations) – users of ND , including consumer societies, conformance evaluation bodies (testing centers, accreditation bodies, certification bodies) and other interested organizations.

The structure and composition of the MTC 534 “Safety of agricultural products and food staples on the basis of the principles of HACCP”

 

¾    The structure of the MTC 534 “ESAPFS” includes: the member states of a treaty , and other states observing the current Provision, complying with the rules and work procedures of the MTC 534 “ESAPFS”.

¾    MTC may form sub-committees (further SC), permanent and temporary working groups (further – WG).

¾    SC and WG formed at meetings of MTC.

¾    The structure and composition of the SC and the WG approve at the meetings of MTC.

¾    SC are created for a specific part of the work on the individual objects of standardization (areas of activity), assigned to the MTC, with appropriate differentiation of competence.

 

The functions of the ITC sub-committees “ESAPFS” includes:
